How to send link request via e-mail

There are less chances of favorable response about your email link request because of many reasons. If you have built a good site and linked first to the site to whom you are asking for link then it may be favorable for you.

Firstly I want to mention that if your site has some of these things and you are doing some of these things (mentioned below) then not ask for link

Your site is not worth linking to.
Your site has noting to do with site you want the link from .
Your site is promiscuous.
You demanded a link first.
You didn’t link others first.
You threatened to remove your links unless you get a link back.

But if you are going for link request via email then you should know how to request via email. If you are not writing in the proper manner then you may not get link. The proper presentation of the mail may assure the link from recipient. The mail should be written in the manner which will attract recipient.

The mail should contain some elements which should serve mainly two purposes: First is that the receiver must know that you have visited his or her site and spend some time there, and second is make it easy to receiver to make a decision to link or not. You can do this by applying following things in your mail.

Clearly mention the subject in you e-mail. As Subject: LINK SUBMISSION
Write site owner’s name and address this person in mail. It will show that you are not spammer and you have seen the site of the owner and know about him or her.
Now mention your name in the mail which will show that the person requesting a link is a human being and so are you. As “Hello William I am Prashant Vikram Singh”.
Mention home page of the owner as the way: “I have been spending some time looking at your site at http://[insert their URL].”
Write about your site name and address of your site.
Express exact URL where your link will be fitted. As manner that: “With regard to your link section….http://sitehomepage.com/exacturl.html”
Description of your site in such manner that which answer “why your site is link worthy?”
The exact URL from your site you want them to link to them.
Give your valid email address for further correspondence.
Mention your phone number if you have.
Confirm that you have added a link to their site.
