Cross Domain Support, New with Google

Google has been into the market with new things around. They are a good competition for many of the upcoming search engines and still doing a great job competing with others. The site owners are very happy with the new development by Google with the canonical tag for working across the domains. This would certainly be a dream come true for many of the website owners. Towards the end of the year, the cross-domain support announced by Google will be out live.

Today the news was out during the SMX East Conference and was a deliberate announcement made by Google. This was done for the benefit of all the owners who voiced to have such a facility made for the benefit of site owners who asked for the solution.

At present, the new development states that the canonical tag will be supported only by Google. Yahoo and Bing are on the same line following the giant. They are still under the research on the benefit on these. At the same time, they have also said that they are likely to introduce the same by the end of year positively. On the other hand, it has also been said that the canonicalization would be supported only across the same domain.

The current information on Canonical Tags states that the Canonical Tag 1.0 will be supported by Bing and Yahoo by the year-end. At the same time, Canonical Tag 2.0 will be supported by Google using cross-domain assistance.
