Google Targets the Smaller Players

Google has decided on a massive change in marketing strategy by catching the attention of the small industries in the United States of America. Google has planned to organize a camp in San Francisco where they will demonstrate the uses and applications of the various tools available. The gala as it can be called has been given the name “favorite places- a celebration of local business” has been organized on the 15th of july,2009 in the city hall and will feature many speakers even the mayor Gavin Newson.

The event will involve the Google employees demonstrating the solutions provided by Google for various problems that any small scale organization may face in their daily operations. This is an attempt to increase the use of Google at all levels of business setups.

The event also promised free coupons for the registered members to help them start off with the services provided by Google. This step will be an excellent marketing strategy by Google which can be adopted by other enterprises in the future. In the past Google has come up with seminars and conferences that familiarized the small scale business owners with the existing new services like AdWords.

But unfortunately with the new marketing strategies being applied in full swing, Google is not paying enough attention to its existing clients. This point and various other complaints from the other regular customers is preventing Google from painting the perfect picture.

Google has offered due reasons for being unable to serve all saying that they equip the users to enable themselves sufficiently than putting in effort to serve each of them independently. While this comment may not be satisfactory to some, it is surely given Google some respite.

But on the brighter side, Google is al set and well rehearsed for its event scheduled for the next week. And it is going to bring a lot of new business setup to enlist with them. That sounds like good news to all.
