Reporting Offensive Images Simplified

The internet is one huge place. Its storage potential is virtually infinite and you can house any amount of data on it. You name it, it is there. Amassing and handling so much of data is a mammoth task. You do not know where to start and if the data were left unattended, searching for something would be like searching a grain of sand in the desert.

Google has been one of foremost search engines on the internet owing to its efficiency and speed with which it brings you the search results. So what do you do? Google has the answer. It relies on the user to report hazardous and offensive content. Users are the best critics and ultimately everything boils down to what the user wants. So now when you run a search for images in the Google search engine and check the safe filter option, another new option crops up which says, “ report offensive material.” When this option is checked the layout of the existing page changes and a check box appears beside each image. This box when checked and submitted will be reported to Google as offensive material. As always Google has come up with an innovative and user friendly idea which is bound to be of great use.
