Terrorists blocking to be done by Limiting the Information on Maps: California State Legislator

Taking in account the Mumbai terror attacks and how they used the Google Maps to cite different spots involved in making a planning tool, the California legislator has proposed a new bill which states this: “not allow online mapping tools from companies like Google Inc. to provide aerial or satellite images of schools, places of worship, government buildings and medical facilities unless they have been blurred.” This particular decision was made for the safety and security of the entire universe and also to ensure that such problems do not occur again.

This bill does not confine just to Google.com and it applies the same for other search engine sites as well including Yahoo!, Ask, MapQuest and others offering satellite maps along with live images. The bill does not talk about stopping the entire facility; instead it says to limit the information coverage in Google Earth. The concerned official also said that nothing shall be blocked which help the common man and all the unnecessary details like elevator shafts; air ducts etc shall be avoided. He also added to the statement that what is need of helping the bad people plan their consequent targets in destroying our universe.

Of course, the fact is true that the terrorists are depending on online maps to plan their entire schedule. But if this hole is closed for them forever they are sure to try out some news ways to plan it in a much better way. Can anyone stop them? If looked in such an angle, the entire World Wide

Limiting these resources, image mapping and other things cannot reduce the attacks by terrorists. Instead, the entire world must stand united and tackle the problem by finding the root cause of it.
