This is happening even when the searches are done on a generic basis. Such a thing was identified by a florist in California last week in London and it became worldwide news when Mike Blumenthal started writing about this particular issue in his blog.
This result has proved to be useful for searchers, big businessmen, and search marketers and even for local business owners. With this new revolution taking toll, Google has been changing its terms with local searches. But the question that comes up is whether all the searches are considered to be local and how is the categorization being done?
The answer to this question is “no” as Google has enough knowledge to identify each and every query. Also, they would certainly be able to tackle up this problem and solve the map spam trouble which is being widely present these days.
